It’s been a while since I’ve put anything on my blog. I’ve been on holidays in Australia with my family. It was so great to get home and visit with my Mum and Dad, sister and brothers and my many many nieces and nephews. Now I am back home and the kids have just started back at school so I am getting back into my crafting and LOVING IT!!
I love Saturated Canary images. They are so much fun, fabulous characters, so much hair and great clothes. I have recently started on my copic collection and have been doing some courses by Suzanne Dean at the Colour me Creative classroom. I have been learning a lot from these courses and having fun trying to colour in some images. This image is called Haley & Harley, it is just adorable with the little pig in the tutu. I put some glossy accents on the flowers and bow and icicle stickles on the tutus.
The copic colours I used were:
Hair: E29, E25, E35, E31, E50
Clothes: BG78, BG75, BG72 and BG10
Pig: E00, E000, R20
Flowers and leaves: R29, R24, R20 and YG17, YG13 and YG11
I am entering this in the following challenges:
Marker Pop - the challenge is the blues, so I’ve used blue colours for my tutu and in the papers…
Color me creative - which is anything goes as long as you colour….
The Cutie Pie challenge - anything goes as long as it’s cute and what could be cuter than a pig in a tutu??
And for my layout inspiration I used the sketch at feeling sketchy, with the optional extra of flowers (in the picture and paper). I love having a sketch to use for inspiration as it ensures I’m not doing the same thing over and over again. This is the sketch – my image was quite big, but hopefully you can see the sketch in my card!!
